It’s #GeneralElection day, and our gorgeous pal Mabel is here to remind you how to keep your furry friends safe if you’re planning on taking them with you to your local #PollingStation 🐶 #PetsAtPollingStations

An infographic that explains what owners should do to keep their dogs safe at polling stations. This includes; Never leaving them unsupervised, not leaving them tied up outside, not leaving them left alone in a car, leaving them at home if it's a hot day, being wary that it might be busy and nervous dogs could get scared due to the loud noises and to remember to take fresh water and treats with you if your dog is going along.

Hello #weekend - I've had a busy week of #volunteering for @The_Blue_Cross #petloss support & @Battersea_ Hubby volunteered at Battersea on Thursday, delivering two #wellbeing sessions. We're having the best #retirement - we're #hereforeverydogandcat & we're here for humans. 💙 – at Old Windsor, South East

When voting in the #GeneralElection24, please don't ever leave your dog tied up outside, as sadly there's a real risk of pet theft. Best play it safe, leave your dog at home, or bring someone along to wait outside with your pooch, on a lead, while you vote. #DogsAtPollingStations
