Do we really need the politicians we have? Some say experience is necessary, but what are we actually getting? Too many belong to think tanks and secret societies, serving special interests. Our needs are met only when they align with those interests.
We must restore the buffer zone the founders created when state legislatures chose senators. This will never happen under the present Congress—it’s not in their interest. Repealing the 17th Amendment would remove campaign funds from Senate races.
