Substrate de-networking linked to greater freedom from VT/VF but more conduction system injury. Trigger-focused ablation may be considered first when PVC triggers are identifiable, reserving substrate modification for refractory/nontriggered VF jacc.org/doi/10.1016/j.jacep… #JACCCEP

Power-controlled HNS ablation can be an option 🙂 but it can result an impedance rise which is also bad 😟
We can increase current to targeted tissue with HNS but temperatures will rise and power delivery will be limited if temp control is used.

The EP fellowship is central to our academic mission. We have expanding complex ablation volumes and bench-to-bedside research. This is the best training opportunity in academic EP. Deadline approaching. Fellows: DM me for more information. @UChicagoCardio @UChicagoMed #EPeeps.
