Here is a sneak peak of some of the new additional features I added for it

The fact that Retro Rewind was able to hit 560+ players at once, let alone sustaining 400+ for hours on end.. it’s just incredible and I can’t describe the amount of joy and pleasure I feel with achieving such high numbers on a 18 year old game. Thank you all so much for playing!
Btw you can already play retro rewind through dolphin using wheel wizard if you wanna play the game now!

Announcing Mario Kart Wiicompiled!
The first static recompilation of a Wii game: Mario Kart Wii, rebuilt for PC.
Releasing in beta this August, with online play and optional Retro Rewind support, bringing over 200 tracks!
Here’s your first look:
I just played online after v1.2.0 update
and it's still mostly intermissions..
They refer to tracks as "lap-type courses" and say they show up more often now.
We're getting trolled...
Looks like you still have to join a discord server to play tracks in Mario Kart World

Nintendo thought the route segments were boring so it led to the creation of the trick system.
Which is weird cos the trick system is barely utilised on those segments. Instead being almost entirely relegated to the traditional tracks.
So they didn't really fix the problem imo.

Shortcat explains perfectly why this new Mario Kart World Update is so disliked right now
This new change with the "Random" option wouldn't be a big issue if the other 3 options weren't almost always 3 connecting highways
At least give us JUST 1 option that is a regular track
The fact we had options and they took them away is messed up

I think this is the thing that's lost on people. "Go back to 8DX" isn't a solution, not just because its been played to death already, but because World has amazing track design with game exclusive mechanics. Nobody wants to quit the game, we want to play the best parts of it.
