Unless I'm missing something the only thing different is that the heat sink has machined grooves in it to help the liquid metal stay in place. I don't agree that it's an "ALL NEW cooling system", it's just grooves in the heat sink. It's also not "100% free of liquid metal"

To be fair I have not opened one of these up to look at it myself, I'm just going off of what the pics show.

As you get excited about new products revealed at #WWDC23, let me remind you that institutions in this country regularly pay recyclers to destroy millions of perfectly good Apple devices that you were just as excited about 3-10 years ago. #righttorepair #righttorefurbish

Got my @iFixit Mako set in today! I kept hearing people like @TronicsFix talk about how great it was... and it is! I've not used it yet (obviously), but the build quality is very high! Now something just needs to break... – at Brantford, Ontario

California’s electronics #RighttoRepair bill, proudly cosponsored by iFixit, just made it through the committee where lobbyists have quietly killed it the last two years! Big congrats and thank you to @SenSusanEggman, @CalPIRG, and @cawrecycles! pirg.org/california/updates/…

Really @TeamYouTube ??? You can’t be serious! You’ve gotta do better at stuff like this. This matters.

I guess that's it -- my 3rd channel is gone for good because I was found to be impersonating myself. It really feels great to have had all the facts reviewed so "carefully" and to have been treated so fairly by Google/Youtube....

I now have everything I need for the project, except for first hand experience. Wish me luck on my first soldering adventure. Watching to much @TronicsFix is a gateway drug for electronic repair.

Assuming all locked devices are stolen is what happens when you believe all apple’s marketing and don’t look deeper into the issue

That’s what happens when you buy stolen shit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@TronicsFix thank you for releasing that video of the power supply causing the ps5 to shut down after you reapplied the liquid metal. Cause we got another one that shut down and wasn't from liquid metal lol..

Apple's M1 MacBooks are being scrapped and sent to landfills due to the Activation Lock feature. @RDKLInc drew attention to how this security measure prevents the refurbishment or donation of these functional devices. bit.ly/3I0wMND — #iFixit

Hey @tim_cook @apple, why have you condemned this beautiful M1 MacBook and millions like it to death? Its battery has only 4 load cycles, and it wants to LIVE! #righttorepair #activationlock
