"We have to talk to our sources, but I guess we can charge a lot more now." The Stirtz family contemplates raising the prices of their lawn mowing business now that Bennett is a 1st round pick 😂

🏀🎉 MAKING HOOPS HISTORY! 🎉🏀 Last night in Brooklyn, New York, former Liberty High School Blue Jay standout Bennett Stirtz was selected in the first round (#16 overall) of the NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies, then immediately traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. With this selection, Bennett becomes the first Liberty Public Schools alumnus to be chosen in the first round of the NBA Draft. It's truly a family affair for the Stirtz family and Liberty Public Schools. Bennett's dad, Roger, was a longtime LPS teacher and hall of fame coach before retiring a few years ago, and his mom, Renee, currently is an All-American teacher at Ridgeview Elementary. All of us at Liberty Public Schools congratulate Bennett on this incredible achievement and look forward to cheering him on at basketball's highest level. 💙🏀 #LPSLeads
