🚨UPDATE: BRAZIL’S TOP ELECTION JUDGE JUST ADMITTED THE LAST-MINUTE POLL EXTENSION THAT HELPED LULA WIN WAS UNAUTHORIZED AND CREATED SERIOUS DIFFICULTIES IN THE PROCESS.
Never in the history of Brazil’s electoral court has voting been extended this way until Supreme Court Justice Cristiano Zanin, Lula’s former personal lawyer, ordered it nationwide right as polls were set to close at 5 p.m.
The order came primarily at the request of Lula’s campaign while conservative Flávio Bolsonaro was locked in a razor-thin runoff.
Lula was declared the winner after the chaos of closed stations, paused counts, and confusion across the country.

Because Zanin issued his order right at the 5PM closing bell, pro-Bolsonaro precincts that closed on time permanently locked their electronic voting machines...while unclosed precincts in regions like the Lula-heavy areas kept taking votes until 7PM 🤯
Electoral lawyer Priscilla Sodré Pereira told the NYT: "This is an extremely serious, critical situation."
Electoral law professor Fernando Neisser said that the election could be annulled if the margin is tight and the evidence shows "that polling stations stayed open longer in areas that strongly favor one candidate"
Even the New York Times is now admitting it.

The conditions allowing for the safe return of Ms. Machado to Venezuela is the direct result of the U.S. supported reconciliation talks which has already seen hundreds of political prisoners freed and hundreds of political opposition figures return from exile.
The United States expects the freedoms of all sectors of Venezuelan politics to continue to be respected. Likewise, we expect all political actors to support these talks which represent the best chance Venezuela has had in thirty years to peacefully achieve not just a free and fair election but an enduring democracy.

Deport the terrorists’ families by the end of the shiva.
