#Yesterday, members of our Mine Rescue Team took part in specialized emergency-response and firefighting training delivered by the @Rwandapolice Fire and Rescue Brigade at Trinity Rutongo Rescue Training Center.
The training strengthened our emergency preparedness and commitment to protecting our people.
Thank you, @Rwandapolice, for your expertise and partnership.
What if you could capture the underground environment in 3D and turn it into valuable data?
Our Surveyor Team is embracing advanced technology by using the FJD 3D S2MAX Scanner to collect accurate 3D data to make mining more precise and data-driven.
Proper survey tools and teams equal proper production.
But don't just take our word for it. Hear directly from the team as they put the technology to work.

Trinity Metals has completed the first controlled blast at its Musha Mine, marking a significant milestone in the mine's transformation toward a more mechanized and productive operation.
The blast was conducted on Level 5 of the Heza Decline and comprised 28 charged blast holes. Each round is expected to advance approximately 1.2 metres. That is up from approximately 0.15 metres per day under current development methods. The faster pace will support access to deeper tin-bearing zones and extend the life of the mine.
Musha is Rwanda's second largest tin producer after Trinity's Rutongo Mine, with first production from Level 5 expected within the next six months.

Chargé d’affaires, a.i. John Armiger joined @Trinity_Metals for its first blast ceremony at Musha Mines to mark a milestone in modernization and supply chain resilience. U.S.-backed companies like Trinity help mark the shift from aid to trade, fueling jobs, growth and prosperity.
Today, Trinity Metals marked an important milestone with the launch of the first blast at Musha Mine, officiated by the @USAmbRwanda Chargé d’Affaires in Rwanda.
The blast marks a significant step in the Heza Decline Project, which began in 2022 to extend Musha’s mine life and provide access to deeper mineralized zones.
As development advances into harder rock, blasting will enable faster and more efficient development, supporting access to cassiterite-bearing mineralized zones at lower elevations.
A milestone that reflects Trinity’s continued commitment to responsible mining, innovation and long-term growth.
⛏️ “It is really fun to go in the mine and see mining crews doing their job and see what Rwanda was doing on the front, what Trinity Metals was doing.” — Frank Garcia.
Following his visit to Trinity Nyakabingo Mine on 21 March 2025, alongside Congressman Ronny Jackson, Frank Garcia, Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, shared his experience in an interview with @CSIS .

At the Panel Discussion on Building Critical Minerals Value Chains, industry leaders and policymakers explored private-sector investment, in-country processing, beneficiation and regional integration.
The panel brought together:
• Joshua Kroon, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Critical Minerals, U.S. International Trade Administration
• Ambassador (ret.) Troy Fitrell, Chief Executive Officer, Sagint International
• Dr. Melba Wasunna, Country Director, Energy Fuels
• @KimtaiHarry, Principal Secretary of Mining, State Department for Mining, Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, Republic of Kenya, @psmining_ke
• Peter Gelata, Chief Executive Officer, @Trinity_Metals
• Moderator: Declan Gavin, Managing Director, @exigentrisk
The discussion highlighted Kenya’s requirement for investors to demonstrate plans for in-country processing and beneficiation, with the aim of increasing mineral value, creating employment and delivering greater benefits to communities and the country.
It also explored regional integration to build the volumes needed for refining and manufacturing, new technologies for on-site mineral separation, and stronger mineral supply-chain traceability.
The panel further highlighted the role of U.S. investment in providing capital, technical expertise and commercial relationships, and the opportunity for minerals to move directly from countries such as Kenya to U.S. markets rather than through third countries.
