This Wellness Month, I’m so excited to give you a little look inside our new Wellness Center with our Head of Wellness, La Ferne Fraser. 💚
As medical students, we spend so much time learning how to care for others, but taking care of ourselves matters too.🧘🏽♀️🩺
Here’s to creating a space where we can pause, reset, recharge, and thrive. Because the best care starts with caring for ourselves. 🤍
Wellness looks good on us. ✨

Turning creativity and collaboration into a valuable learning resource.🥼
Students from Trinity’s 3D Printing Club worked together to develop a 3D-printed brainstem model for the Neuroscience Department.🧠
A special thank you to Mr. Kerry for the time and care he put into developing and refining the model, and to all of the students who contributed their ideas, skills, and hard work throughout the project. 👏
This student-led initiative is a wonderful example of the creativity, collaboration, and initiative within our student community, and how students can use their skills to create resources that benefit current and future Trinity students. 🩺✨

Meet the clubs. GA Edition.🩺 | Khushboo, a Trinity med student
Internal Medicine Club — for the diagnosticians. Case discussions and clinical reasoning: learning to ask why behind every symptom.
Surgery Club — for the hands-on ones. Suturing workshops and OR exposure, plus staying cool when the pressure’s on.
Emergency Medicine Club — for the adrenaline crew. Intubation stations, trauma sims, and thinking fast on your feet. (Yes, someone intubated the esophagus. No names.)
Rotaract — for the givers. Community service and outreach — medicine that makes a difference beyond campus walls.
One fair, four ways to find your people. Which one’s calling your name? 👇 👇

There’s no “right” timeline to medical school.🩺 | Sharon Kaur, a Trinity med student
"Being a non-traditional medical student has taught me that the years before medical school weren’t a detour. They were part of the journey!
The higher education I pursued, the years I spent working in healthcare, and the experiences and connections I gained along the way have all shaped the student I am today. Coming into medical school with professional and clinical experience has given me a different perspective on what I’m learning. I’m not only learning the clinical science, but often connecting it to patients, procedures, and moments I experienced before ever putting on a white coat as a medical student.
If your journey to medicine looks different from someone else’s, that doesn’t mean you’re behind. Those extra years can give you perspective, resilience, confidence, and experiences that you’ll carry with you throughout medical school and into your future practice as a physician.
You’re not starting over. You’re building on everything that brought you here!"
