A little about me:
Upper-30s. Senior leader in Fortune 25 company
BBA in Finance and MBA w/ concentration in Strategy
Based my investment strategy on Benjamin Graham. When I got my first job after college, I maxed out 401Ks, company match, IRAs, etc. I’m set for Retirement with several million already in retirement accounts + Company Equity Grants
Zero debt outside of Mortgage. Never have and never will.
I dabbled in individual trading in my 20s, but never really had the time for it as I was climbing the corporate ladder
I started getting into individual trading last year, and I’m loving it. Mostly because of the X community that is behind it. I love researching stocks, and the tools today along with AI, just make it a lot of fun
I have two kids under 4, and I already love investing on their behalf. Their net worths are already in the 4 digits. They will not have to worry about money
In short: my goal is to grow my RH account to $1M by 2030 to pay off my house. Undecided what I will do after that
Thanks for coming to my page and supporting my investment journey!
Not saying $IREN is going to be the next Apple, Tesla or Amazon. What I’m trying to put into perspective is that massive peak-to-trough moves for high growth, capital-intensive businesses in their infancy are extremely common.
Winners can look broken and recovery times can vary. But execution and fundamentals always prevail. If $IREN executes, we will all look back on this moment as a great buying opportunity.
$IREN was always a 2027 story. Compute comes online and contracts start delivering revenue. This is where patience comes in and you have to level set your investment horizon. Mine is 2030 and always has been. IREN has the makings of a $100B company, it just might take 2-3 years to get there, and that is okay with me. This company keeps getting better, despite the price action. Thesis only changes if the company stops executing. Everything else is noise.

Short term, comments like this create FUD and selling pressure for Neoclouds and alike. But, this is actually bullish for $IREN. Here’s why:
As @danroberts0101 has said all along, now is about execution. Contract headlines won’t move the needle.
This is what @elonmusk is saying. Neoclouds that can DELIVER on GPUs, mainly those with grid-secured power, are the ones that will succeed.
Has Token usage slowed down? No. Has demand increased with token costs decreasing? Yes.
Selling pressure will continue until $IREN can prove it can finance capex effectively (w/o high int debt and dilution) and they can deliver cash flow on GPUs in a timely fashion.
Long term, i don’t have doubts. Near term, probably painful.
Replying to @Yuchenj_UW
I think we’re going to see a lot of stranded compute in partially complete data centers
$IREN I don’t know about you, but the thesis just keeps getting better and better
This is why $IREN is so focused on community engagement.
$IREN this is the green light to start construction on the Data Center campus in Spain, their first presence into the EU market. It appears it won’t be there last as they are building out their EU leadership team with this new BOD. This is a major de-risking event for this campus, and brings to light the Real Madrid sponsorship.
IREN is advancing sovereign AI in Europe, bringing together its European data center capacity and managed cloud services for customers seeking more choice over where their AI workloads run and how their data and infrastructure are managed.
Announced today at NVIDIA GTC Berlin, IREN has established IREN Europe and appointed Ángel Corcóstegui as Chair of the newly established board of directors.
IREN also secured the civil works license for its planned 300MW campus in Badajoz, Spain. Following the completion of its acquisition of Mirantis, IREN’s software capabilities include workload isolation and operational controls that can help customers address data residency, security and governance requirements.

The amount of bots on this app is extremely discouraging. Seeing a lot folks leaving X because of this very reason. Must boost X’s MAUs? Cant see another reason why @elonmusk would allow it.
This is what I’ve been saying all along. Great to hear from Dan himself. Shutting the door on the doubters and naysayers. This is not a company that runs off debt.
A lot of questions this week on funding, so here's how a GPU typically gets funded at $IREN.
First, the customer signs a multi-year take-or-pay contract and agrees to a prepayment. On our recent 3-year contracts, prepayments have been 45% to 55% of the associated GPU capex.
Second, financing is committed, secured by the contracted GPUs. On the Microsoft contract we secured an A-rated facility at around 6%, which together with prepayments covers 96% of GPU capex. More recently, for a non-investment grade counterparty at Mackenzie, we secured financing at 9% fixed, which together with prepayments covers more than the full cost of the GPUs.
That's the GPU side. The data centers are a separate, long-term asset base, and we own the ones our GPUs run in. Construction has been funded from cash to date, with no debt against these multi-billion dollar assets. As they come online with contracted customers, they can support financing in their own right.
The processes behind the next facilities are continuing, and new paper will cost what the market charges. With GPU paybacks of around two years on our recent 3-year contracts, a wider spread barely moves the economics.
There's more customer demand than we can build for. As we noted at our recent earnings, 2026 is largely sold out, recent 3-year contracts are at more than double the prior year's pricing, and demand for anything we can bring online in 2027 covers it several times over, with prepayments a focus in every negotiation. Conversations on 2028 capacity are already underway.
Meanwhile announced capacity keeps slipping across the industry, which is the point: signing deals isn't the bottleneck in this market, bringing GPUs online is, and that's our focus.
$IREN These comments foreshadowed everything that is currently happening, and addressing any FUD relative to execution and debt exposure (rather, lack thereof) related to IREN. I have a feeling Dan and team are not surprised at the current selloff and anxiety surrounding Neoclouds. Because when you read past the FUD headlines, IREN is in a fantastic position. Unfortunately, right now, they are catching flack from the rest of the sector.
Goldman's CommTech conference, San Francisco. 48 hours of @IREN_Ltd investor meetings, and the mood has shifted meaningfully.
Key takeaways:
$IREN i continue to reflect on Dan’s comments on the last EC around the Financing Flywheel. As if he saw this day coming when yields will rise and credit tighten. I believe there is no other Neo-cloud positioned to weather this environment more than IREN.
In summary:
1. Contract capacity
2. Customer prepays 45% - 55% of GPU capex upfront
3. GPU debt financing covers the rest*
4. Combined, prepayments + debt cover 100% of the cost of the GPUs
5. Residual cash starts funding next tranche of GPUs
6. Contracted cash flows service the debt and fund further expansion, removing the need for dilution
*Asset backed (GPUs, LPS) debt-financing results in lower blended rates of 6%-9% FIXED

$IREN People were throwing shade at IREN’s leadership because it wasn’t technology centric. I’m telling you, this is the experience you need in Management if you want to make it out of the current environment alive.
There is nothing more important than debt and capital management right now.
$IREN will survive, many won’t.

$QQQ still +1.26% 1-month. But -6.77% from peak within the month. More pullback could be imminent if this is in fact a bear market. That means another 20% drawdown on high beta names could be incoming. Could get a lot uglier folks. Trump is running out of arrows in the quiver tbh. And you know what happens when someone’s back is against the wall.
$IREN added more commons and contracts. Up to 2700 shares and 10 Sept 2028 contracts. 75 cents off the bottom of the day so I feel good about that. Conviction. Some people will tell you they are buying but they don’t show you the receipts.
Let’s see if we find a bottom here or not.
$IREN sometimes it takes 12-24 months to build out your longterm positions.
No idea how low $IREN is going. But these feels like complete capitulation. But, has $IREN gotten worse as a company in the last 2 weeks? I don’t think so. Continuing to add to my $35 9/18/2028 LEAP. More than enough time for the thesis to play out. Holding off on more commons to preserve capital.
NFA
No one is better positioned than $IREN
I stand by these statements:
“Everybody's going to have to get into the land power shell game and get your own electricity, and everybody's going to have to solve this.
I actually think every company should probably break the seal and understand the energy shortage and think about buying LPS themselves. I do not think you're going to be able to rely on the clouds.”
Potential capacity above and beyond the 5GW already communicated! This is clearly a large site over 1GW. Likely several years down the road, but awesome nonetheless.
Today, IREN shared early plans for Redbank, a proposed data centre campus near Wagga Wagga in regional New South Wales, with the local community.
Redbank is in the early assessment phase. IREN is working toward a grid connection, and the project is not included in our announced 5GW secured-power portfolio.
We’re speaking about it now to provide local residents with information on the proposal before we lodge a scoping report - the first step in the NSW planning approval process. Redbank has the potential to create local jobs and economic stimulus as well as community benefits for the Wagga Wagga area.
