Which is why so many immigrants are shocked when they go to college and meet Black Americans that are also nerdy and smart and/or come from disciplined and wealthy backgrounds. Their parents initially emigrate to impoverished areas where the Black people are still under the heel of legacy white supremacy and think all Black people must be like that instead of recognizing that those people are victims of circumstance.
