There is no community in gaming, at any convention on earth that is quite like the #GCX Family. You all don't just go on vacation, you give with your whole heart. While connecting with friends old and new, enjoying games, networking and celebrating you raised over $80,000 for charity.
$30,071.75 for @GKTWVillage at the Tabletop Tavern and virtually with giveaways, programming and the Scoundrolls @Lynnvander
$29,821.64 for @StJude The Greater Good Project and @TheArtArcade
$16,864.01 for the @alzassociation for @WesJohnsonVoice campaign to #ENDALZ
$3,076.00 for The Queer Trans Project for @TheFalloutXP
$1,000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation for @OrlandoBusters

let's be real, michelangelo was paid around US$600,000 (in today's money) for the sistine chapel, the pope had to beg him to do it, and it took him over five years because he ran away *at least* twice to have an artistic meltdown
he was *not* expected to to hold down another job
