OmniVox has 100% replaced WisperFlow in my daily workflow. At this point I need the automatic prompt structuring and message sending or i feel like i'm working in 2020.
Plus we don't train on your data; we're totally local :)

Can AI crawlers actually read your site?
Access, structure, and missing facts get in the way more often than you'd think.

Shipped OmniVox v0.6.0 this week
OmniVox is dictation + meeting notes for Windows, built local-first: speech recognition, cleanup, and transcription all run on your own hardware. The one cloud feature, AI meeting summaries is opt-in. It goes through your own OpenRouter key, and only ever sends transcript text from that meeting.
New in 0.6.0:
π§ Meeting Mode: it notices you're in a call, offers to record, transcribes locally, and deletes each audio chunk the moment it's text.
π£οΈ Two speech engines: NVIDIA's Parakeet now sits alongside Whisper. Punctuates and capitalizes on its own, ~25% fewer errors on public benchmarks, runs on CPU.
β¨ AI transcript cleanup: a tiny local model strips fillers and fixes "fridayβ I mean saturday" corrections before your text lands anywhere.
π¨ Rebuilt UI, self-hosted fonts, and it releases ~1.5GB of memory when you walk away.
