BREAKING: America’s $1.7 trillion auto loan market is headed for a crash, per Reuters.
Auto loans are now one of the biggest sources of household debt, bigger than credit cards.
And the strain is showing: 1 in 5 Americans is behind on at least one loan, the highest since 2010, and the average car on the road is now nearly 13 years old, a record.

Really the only thing they got wrong was assuming they would be cold and tired

A reminder that the National Firearms Act was the direct result of our federal government passing Prohibition and getting murked in return by the citizenry to the point they were forced to repeal it.
That was the turning point. That's when they realized government actually has no power to pass laws the voters don't agree with, lest they face armed rebellion.
Look how things have changed since. Our modern government and political class are not afraid of you any more, so they do whatever they want.
Make politicians afraid again.

From Idaho to Oregon we are finding out again and again that responsible citizens who carry can end threats effectively. Conceal carry is a right and should not be restricted

India is treating our country and citizens poorly. Scam call centers. H-1B fraud. University degree fraud. They call us racist while banning an American company. This has gone on long enough. Trump should cut all economic ties immediately.

This piece of shit Boomer is crying about making $50/hr as a teenager, and still having jobs waiting for them. All those jobs are now done by Mexicans, dummy. They’re sending your social security back to Mexico.
I'm a boomer.
I was self employed from about the age of 12 through high school.
I cut grass, baled hay, shoveled snow, sold firewood and collected bottles.
Anything to make a buck, I did it.
My first real job after high school in late 1979, I ran a jackhammer that weighed almost as much as I did.
40 hours per week outdoors in triple digit summer temperatures and single digit winter temperatures, no ear protection, and I got paid almost $4 per hour for doing this.
Then to make extra money, I still mowed a couple lawns and worked as a gas station attendant on weekends.
Younger generations of today really do have it much harder than I did back then.
🙃 🤦🏻♂️
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
$4 an hour in 1979 is nearly $20 an hour today.

One of the only existing groves of American Chestnut trees is scheduled to be destroyed next month to make room for a datacenter. I made an entire video about what this tree meant and the efforts to bring it back that have lasted decades. Consumption knows nothing of sacrament.

I am the British whistleblower who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC to the FBI in 2020–21.
Listen to the BBC File on 4 documentary about my whistleblower story:
bbc.com/audio/play/m002yx47
BBC News:
bbc.com/news/articles/c9q28d…
I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors.
My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher.
I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day.
The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me.
Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly:

Follow me here on X and on LinkedIn. I intend to share more of the evidence and the story behind what happened.

In Montana, teenagers actually get paid market wages, good summer jobs, they can save money for summer trips or just enjoy being a kid with some pocket money. Their Governor, of course, wants to change this. Fuck all these people.
