The Bourton has long been a favourite from our Northampton factory, and for this season we have made it in Navy Museum calf, a full-grain leather that is mottled by hand so that deep midnight tones sit over flashes of brighter cobalt.
Leather can change the character of a familiar style. Pampus brings a smoother, more refined finish to the Kilsby Derby, with a supple handle and a consistent grain that develops greater depth with wear and care.
Paul has worked at Tricker’s for 20 years, carrying out one of the final stages in the making of our shoes and boots.
Using traditional finishing techniques, he brings depth, shine and character to the leather by hand.
Autumn Winter has arrived at Tricker’s.
Our new collection brings together classic shoes and boots, from familiar favourites to new interpretations, each reflecting the character, quality and craftsmanship of traditional Northampton shoemaking.
A British September can mean 10°C at breakfast and 20°C by mid-afternoon. Layers come off as the temperature rises, but a pair of Tricker's comfortably suits day-long wear.
Justin began working in the shoe trade at 16. Today, he supervises the lasting floor of our Northampton factory.
“This is the best company I’ve worked for. I can say that hand on heart.”
For Matthew Spade, the things worth holding on to are those that fit naturally into everyday life and gain character through use.
Made from start to finish in our Northampton factory, the Havard Penny Loafer is designed with the same idea in mind: to be worn often and develop its own character over time.

Havard is a classic penny loafer, with its saddle strap and half-moon cutout giving the slip-on style its defining detail.
Chocolate Repello Suede brings a softer, more relaxed feel, with a fine nap that adds texture and depth to the rich brown upper.
Built on our true-to-size 11659 last, Havard has a rounded toe and sleek profile that works just as easily with shorts as it does with tailoring.
