Nowadays, one JOB just isn’t enough. You gotta work full time, do hair on the side, drive Uber, do nails, and cut grass just to keep up with the bills. At this point, we don’t need a side hustle. We need a second version of ourselves.

Some coworkers work so hard at avoiding work that I'm genuinely impressed. Imagine what they could accomplish if they put that same energy into actually doing their job.

Management keeps calling me a team player. I’m starting to wonder if the rest of the team knows they’re supposed to be playing too. Somehow I’m doing all the work while everyone else sits on the bench collecting the same paycheck.

Job lost everything he had, and in the end God gave him double. Trust the process.

There should seriously be a mandatory day off just to recover from work. No errands, no chores, no responsibilities. Just one day to sleep, relax, and mentally prepare to deal with the same nonsense all over again.

Some managers think employees going quiet when they walk in means respect. Sometimes people just don’t want to deal with the criticism and drama. If everyone feels better when you leave, that says a lot about your leadership.

Some managers act like letting employees take breaks, leave on time, or be treated with respect is a favor. Those are basic workplace expectations. You don’t deserve applause for treating people like human beings.

One of the worst things a manager can do is tell employees to open up, then use their personal struggles against them. Someone admits they’re overwhelmed, and suddenly their reliability gets questioned.
