Replying to @unitedutilities
@unitedutilities please explain your actions. Your customers pay you to treat sewage, not dump it. @EstherMcVey1 @Feargal_Sharkey
I think the worse thing about #Mandelson is his dogged selfishness. He knew what he knew when he took the job, knowing the truth would come out and yet he put himself before his country, Government and party. Utterly embarrassing. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ce9y…
2026 is your year @TheMasters @JusinRose99 Wishing you the very best.
I collect my son from T2 Mcr airpt, timed so not to go over the 15mins. My son’s suitcase is trashed in transit & delayed reporting it & making it secure. You receive £100 fine for going over 15mins by 9min, I appeal & lose. Fair? @hlpdesk_manair @MENnewsdesk @easyJet @APCOAUK
Donald Trumps current "war" on drug cartels. Blowing boats out of the water. Between 2018-22 4000 illegal guns were seized by Caribbean police linked with crimes. 73% of guns originated from the US, landed by sea. Take action #Caribbean, “war” on guns.

So exactly 16 days after govt introduced bans on 6 water companies paying bonuses, including @SouthWestWater fat cat CEO Susan Davy of South West Water fame gets paid nearly £200,000 in shares bonuses.
That didn't take long then. As I said at the time, nothing but performative politics.

I see the water industry is out there pushing the line that KKR pulled out of the Thames Water deal because of regulation.
Suspect this has more to do with it. KKR wanted creditors to take a 40% hit on the debt, they told KKR where to get off.

Weeks 79, 80, and 81 of the Strike Against Sewage
We’re amazed that after all this time, not a single week has passed where we’ve stood alone on the streets of Windermere. Every strike, without fail, people have joined us. Some proudly dressed in poo attire… but we are united in our protest against United Utilities’ continued dumping of sewage into our lake.
This kind of dedication speaks volumes to us.
Just a reminder: we gather every week outside the United Utilities Information Centre in Windermere from 9am to 10am. The strike is an open invitation for anyone to come and learn more about why we’re here, to challenge us if you disagree, and to help raise awareness of the urgent need to Save Windermere.
Come stand with us.

#EubankBenn watched this back several times and still don’t get the unanimous decision.

And there we have it, there is the level of aggravation, frustration and betrayal being felt throughout the country.
The River Ver is a chalk stream one of only 225 in the entire world and we allow a water company to spend 3,000 hours nonstop dumping sewage into it.
Time to get real. @GMB @CharlotteHawkns
Another unwanted and unbelievable milestone passed today - 3000 hours of continuous sewage have been discharged directly into the #RiverVer chalk stream since December 12th 2024. No rain or snowmelt - see you in court?

Government acted quickly enough over British Steel, why not the water industry?
It’s time for driven, focused, ambitious leadership. It’s time to get real.
'We need to take the profit margin out and break these companies up.'
@Feargal_Sharkey believes that water companies should be 're-nationalised' as he calls for a 'radical reform' of the regulartory systems.
But apart from this………🤔
