It’s really hard for me not to see trading card games as a scam.

Finally watched Cocaine Bear. The actors did their best to sell it, but the camera work just seemed too straightforward. It needed a Sam Raimi or Edgar Wright to bring it home. It also needed more cameos to get mauled by the bear. Too many people survived via plot armor.

Watched Pride & Prejudice & Zombies last night. It was okay. It seemed very different from how I remembered the mash-up novel going, but it’s been a very long time since I read it. It seemed like a better P&P than a zombie movie.

I am not anti-AI. I am getting increasingly annoyed by AI ads, though. Mainly because I know there are some older folks squinting at their phones who don’t realize the ads are AI.
