FlightGlobal reports that @EveAirMobility is planning demonstration flights of its electric air taxi in the United States in 2028, despite being excluded from the Federal Aviation Administration's eVTOL Integration Pilot Program. The Florida-based company, majority-owned by Brazilian aircraft manufacturer @Embraer, is continuing to develop partnerships in the U.S. as it works toward certification of its electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The planned demonstrations would take place before the aircraft receives FAA certification, providing opportunities to showcase its capabilities outside the federal pilot program.
