No matter what industry you are in, remember to never let it eat you alive.
The cycle of wanting and needing to be accepted, to be relevant, to be praised, even if it’s by people who don’t give two fucks about you.
It’s an endless loop that’ll rob you of your sanity.

The 30s are interesting especially when you’re in music, you not the young kid no more with endless time and little perspective but you’re not the OG with years of respect and adulation. It’s an interesting time to find balance and newer, fresher definitions. 🥃

To all my smokers, face your trauma. You might’ve thought you smoked that shit away but trust me it will come back around to crack you in time. Plus the weed hits better when you happy.

DMX So sad such an amazing person and artist. Last time I saw him we just talked about our kids all day. If anyone out there has a friend or family member that suffers from addiction don’t judge just show them love and support. Childhood Trauma is real.

Anxiety will have you thinking you’re behind, meanwhile in reality you’re over on top of everything. Try to remember that you’re in control & everything always works out in the end. It helps.

Social media has artists fucked up because it takes time to create amazing art, sometimes a lot of time, and the way the algorithms work you can't really take time off and expect continued engagement. This is driving people to be more release-driven than development-driven.

The teacher learns more than the student.
The author learns more than the reader.
The speaker learns more than the attendee.
The way to learn is by doing.
