‼️ #Galveston, you entered the 100° club today. Today’s high of 101° sets a new daily record and ranks as the second hottest day ever recorded in the city. Only Sept 5, 2000 was hotter when it reached 104°. Needless to say 100° weather near the coast is not normal! @abc13houston

NEW: Potential Storm Ten has developed near the Yucatán Peninsula. Current forecast projections have this system moving into the gulf Monday evening, likely strengthening into a hurricane before making landfall along the Florida gulf coast. Future name: Idalia @abc13houston
