here's what it looks like with a 30 minute drive time to stations, by 8am (including all journey parts, parking, etc) - and in this one I also added in the new Crossrail stations, as well as Reston - using @TravelTimeAPI and their new 'Robust Mode' to churn through the calcs

TravelTime tool now available for 53 countries - orange = all modes of transport, purple = just driving - I've generated isochrones in QGIS for over 40,000 small areas across Great Britain and it barely flinched - also has web interface and ArcGIS and Alteryx plugins
