🏦My take: Physical ownership puts the metal in your hands. Your purchasing information can still remain in someone else’s database. We as stackers compare premiums, authenticity & shipping. Data security deserves a place on that list...

I strongly suspect that US' YTD gold exports 👇would balance our trade deficit at $22,000/oz.
And then @SecScottBessent could instruct Fed Chair Warsh to revalue US official gold to that $22,000/oz., per Section 2.10 of the Financial Accounting Manual for Federal Reserve Banks, which would deposit $5-6 trillion into the US Treasury General Acct...
...with which Bessent could buy back the entire long end if he wished, now that it has been put on sale by the rise in rates.
This solution could be done in < 1 month, pretty easily (mechanically, if not politically.)
