This bathroom bill is not about safety.
It doesn’t prevent someone
-convicted of rape,
-convicted of sexual assault, or
-on the sex offender registry,
from using a public bathroom.
It DOES prevent me from taking my daughter to the women’s restroom, even if it’s empty. A joke.

Republicans claim their bill is meant to protect women, but they can’t answer how it would protect women who might be mistaken for men in public or address the potential for “bathroom police” to harass women.
They dodge the tough questions!
Watch House Democrats hold them accountable.
