The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has joined the Hind Rajab Foundation and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib in calling on the US Department of Justice to arrest and prosecute Sean Glass, an Israeli military commander accused of involvement in the killing of five-year-old Hind Rajab in Gaza.
CAIR says Glass has allegedly boasted on social media about his actions in Gaza, and that anyone found responsible for war crimes and Israel’s genocide in Gaza must face justice.

Extensive investigative findings place Glass and his "Vampire Empire" company—operating under the 52nd Armored Battalion—in the immediate vicinity of the family's vehicle during the massacre, which saw Israeli occupation forces shell and riddle the civilian car with hundreds of bullets.
The legal advocacy group warned that allowing an officer accused of egregious war crimes and acts of genocide to walk unbothered on US soil represents an intolerable collapse of international law and universal jurisdiction.

Calgary Opera in Canada has removed bass-baritone Gabriel Sanchez-Ortega from the remaining performances of Tosca after he raised a Palestinian flag during the curtain call on opening night, Friday, October 16.
The opera company said the flag-raising was unexpected and unauthorized, adding that individual political protest goes against its policies. Another singer will take over the role of Cesare Angelotti for the remaining performances, which are scheduled to run through October 24.
In a social media post, Sanchez-Ortega said he had no regrets about raising the Palestinian flag.
