Good to see @railandroad addressing this now as it’s certainly not the case today. But, as the rail competition watchdog, shouldn’t equal access to fares and data have been a priority long ago?
We will be engaging in this consultation to ensure the Government’s rhetoric matches its reality. We need to see concrete, practical steps towards economic parity, ensuring that promises of an open market aren’t just empty political talk.

The proposed rail retail Code of Practice is a welcome step forward.
For the first time, it sets out fair and equal access to fares, products and data, something that doesn’t exist today.
But principles on paper are only the start.

Thanks. The EU has been talking about increasing cross border rail travel forever (it seems), they need to "force it" to happen with regulations like this IMO.
In there was disruption/delays, how would the relevant people know they were "booked together on one retailing platform"? Or to put it another way, what would the booking platform have to "include" in the eTicket or whatever?
