Here is a quick 1 minute clip from "The Masters of Trading" Dan Zanger interview back in 2005.
Dan highlights some very important points which still hold true today and even more so in this current 2025 market.
- Not to be in the market all the time
- Less trading
- Limit exposure ( 3 - 4 positions max)
- Stalk the market and let it set up
- Anticipate 2 - 3 big trend moves per year. ( 8 - 12 weeks per move )
- Let it set up all over again.
Trade less!
A big part of my strategy is concentrated positions and to hit these positions when the deck is stacked in my favor. I talk about this a lot on here but I think this clip sums it up perfectly!

The market is efficient. Your process & focus needs to be too.
You don't need 20 different ideas for the week. You need just a few. Naturally it helps with consistency because you won't have the tendency to just jump into a dozen different things after the first 5 didn't work.
And its bullet points like these, whether I agree or not that will always keep me coming back for more. I'll never delete this app. ahaha!
A phenomenal resource especially those looking for strategies and techniques that they can turn into their own.
Step by Step, real trades, real world examples.

Great work as usual by @MacroCharts showing the historic short ETF volume this week. What do you guys think all these traders and investors are so scared about?
