Make sure to always explain the price movement after it has played out. Don’t build a system to identify it ahead of time, the why is more important than the when in trading. How else will you feel smart?

Technical analysis requires CONTEXT to work.
Most trades should start by identifying a clear target. Only then, once the goal n direction the market is clear, do you implement your levels n look to execute.
If you're blindly trading every FVG n they're all failing, this is why.

Still like 60/40 that we havent seen a cycle bottom yet. If we get some kind of muted bottom without capitulation i could see sth like this.
Just looking at crypto in general and how it traded the recent years its hard to believe people will get with the local bottom

Interesting for Swing-Shorts here, some Top-Down Analysis
Running into monthly and weekly resistance and testing daily supply. Would love to see it tagging the 46.5-48 Zone for cleaner shorts.
Overall in my opinion this is just a big range being formed. Would be intereted in spot buys once we clear the weekly swing low at 20$ with a tag of untested monthly and weekly demand.

remember one thing
"Crypto moves always last"
Typical Exit-Pump behaviour while stocks looking locally topped and suddenly btc starts outperforming.

$ETH pushing ATHs on a Sunday. What could possibly go wrong. Looking for the SFP short if we see some kind of local blowoff-top.
Sadly missed the breakout-trade shared before since i wasn´t at the desk today.

Do I have:
A clear process / routine which encapsulates the following:
=> Mindset & Psychological Framework
=> Risk Management Framework
=> Position Sizing Framework / Kelly Criterion
=> Clearly Defined Strategies
=> Knowing My Expectancy Behind Each Strategy
=> Having a Large Enough Sample Size Per Strategy
=> Can I Then Scale Up Those Strategies - I cant scale up randomness
=> Effectively Review Trades
=> Effectively Journal Trades & Track Performance / Metric - This is what I enjoy the most - and fine tune edge.
If I were to start over or adopt a new trading strategy, I would begin by sizing down and placing full emphasis on both qualitative and quantitative journaling of my performance. We all have a tendency to throw capital at something we dont fully understand, this isnt trading an edge, its trading randomness.
The goal would be to deeply understand the process and confirm that I have a positive expectancy, an edge over a good enough sample size, forward tested.
Only once that edge is clear and proven would I consider scaling up with confidence and control, executing and managing risk while playing the probabilities, until that edge eventually fades or erodes and if not then is it a mindset issue.
That above is the structure I wish I had when I was figuring out the game.

Gm, I've been trying to trade for almost a year now. Can confirm most of these. Have thought about quitting several times but I love it too much too quit.
Lately I've been wondering how much time I should govd myself to succeed and what succeeding even means. I think it would mean being profitable. And I've been that slightly for 2/3 months now.
How much time would you say someone should give it?
