When West Indians and Continental Africans go to their home countries and their people say they’re Americanized, they’re TALKING about FBA! They don’t move to the US and move to Calabasas. They move to the hood. Pick up the slang, the dress code and culture. That’s Americanized!

The US stock market is in its own league.
US stock market cap now accounts for 45% of the world equity market value, the most among any other major country or region.
This is nearly triple the combined proportion of China and Hong Kong, at 16%.
Europe and the rest of Asia-Pacific follow, accounting for 13% and 11% of global market cap, respectively.
By comparison, Japan, the world's 3rd-largest stock market, represents just 6%.
Meanwhile, the Middle East and Africa account for 5%, while Canada and Latin America make up 3% and 1%, respectively.
The scale of the US equity market relative to the rest of the world is unprecedented.

Listen to @JayBilas . College athletes create enormous economic value for schools, conferences, the NCAA, broadcasters, media companies, and more. It’s fundamentally unfair to restrict athletes’ rights while leaving other powerful actors in the college sports ecosystem largely unconstrained.

Many "Black" Americans, including my elders, were against integration. I often heard these views shared around the Sunday dinner table with my family.

Luka said it's harder to score in the EuroLeague.
Jokic said it's tougher to play in Europe and every NBA player should play 6 months there to see the pressure.
Y'all laughed at them, but they are right.
Fun fact: in 2010 the NBA champ Lakers played the Euro champ Barcelona and LOST 88-92. The NBA has since slowly stopped having NBA teams play Euro teams because they didn’t want everyone to see the NBA product isn’t extremely superior like they claim.
Cope how you want, but the NBA champs really need to stop calling themselves the world champs unless we have a tourney with the Euro teams✌️

I’m glad Black Americans are pushing back on this.
Because it’s always been strange to me to see ppl come to America, build careers in America, benefit from the opportunities here, participate in and even emulating Black American culture, and then get comfortable lecturing Black Americans about how lazy we are.
Criticize America. America deserves criticism. But there’s a difference between criticizing specific problems and developing this superiority complex toward the people whose country and culture helped create the opportunity you’re benefiting from.
But I also think Black Americans have to take some accountability for why people sometimes feel this comfortable.
We publicly trash America constantly. We tell everybody America is terrible. America is oppressive. Nothing works here. There are no opportunities here. The system is completely against us. And then somebody immigrates here, succeeds here, listens to us talk about our own country that way for years, and eventually starts repeating some version of it themselves, except now they’re talking about us.
And suddenly we’re like, ‘Hold on. Who are YOU talking about?’
It’s like if someone talked crazy about their brother to everybody else. Telling ppl everyday, ‘Man, my brother gets on my nerves. He’s irresponsible. He does this, he does that.’ etc. Then one day somebody outside the family says, ‘Yeah, your brother ain’t shit.’
Now you’re ready to fight. And I understand it. Because your immediate reaction is, ‘I can talk about my brother. You can’t.’
But you also have to recognize that you helped make that person comfortable enough to think they could.
That’s why I think there’s a lesson here for Black Americans too. We can acknowledge every flaw America has, and there are plenty, without pretending there’s nothing valuable about being American or nothing unique about the opportunities that exist here.
Because there’s a reason people from all over the world are still trying to get here.
And there’s definitely something ironic about benefiting from America and Black American culture and then turning around and explaining to Black Americans what’s supposedly wrong with Americans.
Full Clip of Cam Newton & Da’Vinchi going back and forth after Da’Vinchi talked about efficiency and how Americans are so lazy, but Cam Newton disagreed with him👀
Cam: “I don’t think American teaches Laziness, i think America’s premise off is efficiency that is oftentimes overused, i don’t think Americans have a lazy issue, i think Americans have an addictive ability to take the easy route, we have an efficient issue that alot of people have taken advantage of for too long”
Da’Vinchi: “We have wanna be efficient so bad that you have mothers that are trying to make ends meet and trying to raise their son but because they can’t do it so now their son is being raised by TikTok and an ipad because she doesn’t got a choice, but this country promote efficiency so much that it’s like oh yeah make getting entertainment so efficient and easy that this entertainment is raising these kids and this kids are becoming addicts, by the time this kid is a legal adult, entertainment has such a grasp on that child’s mind”
