Since SCOTUS is going to overturn #RoeVWade I think this one from George Carlin is appropriate.

Twitter by gender: statista.com/statistics/6787…. By age: statista.com/statistics/2831…. I couldn’t find recent stats on a breakdown by race or LGBTQ / Cys. If this is a “public square,” it a skewed one. @profgalloway @karaswisher

Friends, Musk/Twitter headlines are all variants of ‘what will Elon do?’ It’s a signal of how lost we are. We obsess over one man and his whims because we don’t yet have the democratic rule of law needed to govern our information spaces. Without law power is dangerous.🧵[1/8]

Air raid sirens went off in the middle of the performance! The orchestra finished the piece and went into the bunker…then finished the online concert. Of course we brought some treats for everyone…. #ChefsForUkraine @WCKitchen @YoYo_Ma

“Individuals higher in nature connectedness tend to be more conscientious, extraverted, agreeable, and open … nature connectedness has also been correlated with emotional and psychological well-being.”
But we live in a world where nature is leaving us.

Not a complete surprise, but Wow…
Interesting--study links climate change to growth in bat populations that produce new coronaviruses

Actually, no, it doesn’t. I just tried again. Perhaps it’s a common problem, but I haven’t run into it with a jar of cream before. An air bubble should rise to the top, so perhaps this was packed on its side. For 2 days it’s been right side up. Nothing has changed.
Hello @Intuit I can open intuit.com on my MacBook Pro, but the page content won't load on my iPad or phone. Any thoughts how to remedy this? Not sure if it's me or a general problem. Thanks!

Told by “escalated” customer service rep yesterday that NO weekend deliveries made from NILES, IL facility. According to email & online tracking, delivery scheduled for Saturday. Waited yesterday per (false) tracking info. Can’t wait here all day today. @FedEx @FedExHelp
Interesting choice to call a social media channel “Truth.” That is literally what Pravda means. @karaswisher @profgalloway @Steven_Bynum reuters.com/world/us/former-…
Meanwhile @FEDex @FedExHelp, a very nice customer service rep - Guillermo - tried 5 times to get through to the Escalation dept. It’s 8:24 pm CST. No one this there. I was on the phone for 18 minutes.

Breaking: Senate Republicans block debate on Freedom to Vote Act
It’s completely undemocratic that 41 GOP senators representing just 21% of country can filibuster legislation supported by 70% of Americans that would expand voting access for tens of millions
Tweeting mostly for real-time documentation… Just got off phone w @FedEx @FedExHelp (another 20 minutes I’ll never get back). Even though the return order was put in on 10/18, “the automated system wasn’t updated.” “We’re sorry for your inconvenience” Really? #refundplease
Wow. The detailed tracking of the package @FEDEx @FedexHelp couldn’t manage to deliver: Over a span of two weeks: Evanston, IL, Niles, IL, Sandy Twp, PA, Keasby, NJ, Woodside, NY, Kennesaw, GA, Keasby, NJ, Woodside NY and now on its way back to me. Will resend via @UPS
Sigh “Trisha” at Twiiter @FedExHelp is having a package returned to me. She said that a tracking number would be generated. AND SHE NEVER SENT IT TO ME. @FedEx how far ye have fallen…
