Coach, congratulations on retirement. While my son Mason was not an ideal student athlete, he did learn a lot from you. Appreciate your coaching, teaching and efforts to help shape him as a young person. I always felt like he was in good hands with you and Tommy Nash. Best wishes

What a wild ride it has been. I am sincerely thankful for all of it—even the hard times because, much like in the crazy sport of Track & Field, it is how we respond to difficulty that makes us who we are. Visit me at @OKCNM or run @OKCMarathon as I move on to a new mission!

I’ve always thought it weird that people feel the need to make stuff up about people they do not know. Hating is a sad look, especially when it’s wrapped up in a desperate conspiracy theory and a conflict they invented in their heads.

Anyone who cares about public education, watch this series by @wsuares that looks at the teacher shortage largely from the perspective of educators in Oklahoma.

🚨 JUST IN. We’ve been asking for information for months regarding the latest federal report on how Oklahoma spent its GEER funds to help education during the pandemic. The findings are very critical of our decision makers. Here’s what I’m reading so far. 🧵 @OKCFOX
