$82K in a contract for my company and then $4K for mine in a claim I forgot to approve to be precise if you are active onchain and HNW I can get him to look at yours too if you’ve deployed contracts or if you think you may have money left around

How to protect your crypto: 🔐 Never store seed phrases in screenshots, emails or cloud notes. 📍 Always verify the full recipient address before confirming a transfer. 🛡️ Enable two-factor authentication (2FA), preferably with an authenticator app or security key. 🚫 Avoid unknown links, suspicious apps and fake wallet-support accounts. 🔑 Keep long-term holdings in a reputable hardware wallet when appropriate, and never share your recovery phrase. ✅ Use trusted wallets, keep devices updated and revoke suspicious token approvals.
🚨 CRYPTO IS UNDER ATTACK — AND THE LOSSES ARE GETTING WORSE. Crypto security threats are no longer occasional headlines. September 2026 brought two major incidents that exposed serious weaknesses across the industry. 💸 Bitget — Approximately $387.5 million stolen. Attackers reportedly exploited compromised third-party security software and manipulated transaction data to push fraudulent withdrawals through the exchange’s systems. Source: Financial Times ₿ Liquid Network — Approximately $320 million affected. A software vulnerability allowed attackers to create unbacked L-BTC and exchange it for real Bitcoin. Around 85% of the withdrawn Bitcoin was subsequently returned. Source: Chainalysis These incidents show that the threat isn’t limited to stolen seed phrases. Attackers can exploit software vulnerabilities, compromised credentials, transaction authorization systems, smart contracts and user devices.

Our Commitment to Trust Trust is fundamental to cryptocurrency recovery work. We understand that clients are dealing with sensitive financial information and potentially significant losses, which is why our approach is built around: Expertise: We apply blockchain analysis and forensic techniques to investigate transaction histories and fund movements. Transparency: Clients receive clear explanations of what can and cannot be established from the available blockchain evidence. Confidentiality: Sensitive client information and investigative materials are handled using appropriate security measures, including encryption and controlled access. Integrity: We maintain a professional and evidence-based approach and do not make promises of recovery that cannot reasonably be supported. Results: Our objective is to provide actionable findings—such as traced fund movements, relevant wallet relationships, and potential points of intervention—while clearly communicating the limitations of each investigation.
Blockchain Analysis and Secure Data Handling Blockchain analysis, combined with appropriate cybersecurity and encryption practices, can support the investigation and recovery process following cryptocurrency theft or loss. 1. Blockchain Traceability Public blockchains maintain permanent records of transactions, allowing investigators to follow the movement of digital assets between wallet addresses. Although blockchain addresses are generally pseudonymous, transaction histories can be analyzed to identify patterns, related addresses, exchanges, and other services associated with the movement of funds. 2. Forensic Blockchain Analysis Blockchain investigators can examine transaction hashes, wallet addresses, transaction timing, fund flows, and address relationships to reconstruct how stolen assets moved through the blockchain. Where appropriate, cluster analysis and other forensic techniques can help identify connections between addresses and potential points where funds entered centralized exchanges or other identifiable services. 3. Data Security and Encryption Encryption does not make public blockchain transactions private or directly enable the tracing of stolen cryptocurrency. Its role is to protect sensitive investigative and client information outside the blockchain itself. This can include case files, communications, identification documents, investigative reports, and other confidential data. Appropriate encryption and access controls help prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing or altering sensitive information during an investigation. 4. Secure Recovery Process The recovery process focuses on tracing the movement of assets, documenting the evidence, identifying relevant service providers or custodial platforms, and determining what legitimate recovery or legal avenues may be available. Recovery is not guaranteed, particularly when funds have been moved through mixers, bridges, privacy-enhancing services, or multiple chains.

Hackers don't need physical access to your phone. A malicious app, phishing link, or insecure network can be enough. Take a few minutes to check your device's security before it's too late. 🚨NEW THREATS TARGETING CRYPTO USERS🚨 Security researchers have identified new malware strains designed to target cryptocurrency users - not by attacking the blockchain itself, but by exploiting users and their devices. One malware strain reportedly scans images stored on phones and uses text-recognition technology to search for wallet recovery phrases (seed phrases). Many users save screenshots of these phrases in their gallery, creating a serious security risk. If attackers gain access to a valid recovery phrase, they may be able to restore the wallet and access the funds. Another threat involves clipboard hijacking. This malware silently monitors copied wallet addresses and replaces them with an attacker's address. Victims may paste and send funds without noticing the change.

How it works: 📌 Copy a wallet address 📌 Malware detects a crypto address 📌 Address is replaced in the background & 📌 Funds are sent to the wrong wallet These threats do not hack the blockchain - they target the weakest point: the device itself. Stay protected: ✔️Avoid saving recovery phrases as screenshots ✔️Verify the full wallet address before sending funds ✔️Keep devices and apps updated ✔️Avoid unknown apps, links, and browser extensions ✔️Stay alert and practice good security habits Your crypto security is not only about protecting your wallet — it's about protecting everything connected to it.

Crypto Recovery is REAL!!! DO NOT LET SCAMMERS WIN
In 2025, crypto thieves stole a record $3.4 billion. But the biggest myth in the industry is that once your crypto is stolen, it's gone forever. ⏳ In this episode of the Market Intelligence Council podcast, we unpack how stolen funds are actually recovered, an $800K hack story, AI deepfakes, and how global police connect directly to exchanges. 🎙️ Hosted by @JakubDziadkowie with: - Sol Cinosi – Chief Govt & Corporate Affairs Officer, @RecoverisTeam - Nick Pailthorpe – Global Director of Govt Relations, @KodexInc - @EvanLuthra – General Partner, @KOLCapital Watch the full episode here: youtube.com/watch?v=eQ5VKGYa…

@craiglambert_io I read about the 17.86 BTC Coldcard loss. Cases involving large hardware wallet breaches often require detailed transaction tracing, address analysis, and cluster mapping to understand the movement of funds and identify possible recovery paths. DM

Cold wallet attacks are increasing. If your funds were drained, share the transaction hash and wallet details for analysis. Understanding the drain path is the first step toward identifying what happened and possible recovery options.
The first post was the advisory and what users should do. This second post has the technical details: what actually went wrong, why our reviews missed it, the impact across Mk3/Mk4/Q/Mk5, and what we changed. blog.coinkite.com/entropy-te… ( current evaluating Mk3 firmware release )
