Watched 30Something ep "First/Last Day." Genius writing by @Kockenlocker and incredible directing by @peterhorton. That last complex scene, with the layering of earlier Mike/Eliot and present Mike/Eliot is flawlessly executed. Television at its finest.

FABULOUS movie! Sad, sweet, funny, heartwarming. I can't recommend it enough! And the big miracle is that it took my mind off of my intense back pain, transporting me into these people's lives. Excellent movie. The best I've seen in a long, long time.

Almost finished reading this one. My love of "thirtysomething" brought me to it, but WOW, what an epic retelling of an epic career. A must-read for any creative person in any creative field, filled with quotable gems about the process. Highly recommend!
