Kagire, I have very many ways to how I could answer you but unfortunately the bible detters me from Vain talk.
And to think that some people do stuff and do away with them doesn't vindicate them to be right. I hope one day we refer back to these conversations.
Mukulu, you started a very necessary conversation in Uganda. I don't know if it is too late to save the situation but this is a very crucial, timely topic. When Rwanda moved to check the "church industry", so much was said, the pushback was huge, the government was attacked, doom was predicted but 2-3 years in, we no longer have people sleeping in churches, caves & forests chasing promised miracles, we no longer have churches playing loud overnight music & people praying 24hrs for "miracles", there are no more churches promising unrealistic miracles, cars, visas, land and imaginary houses. You can't imagine how much sanity has been restored. I don't think you can even measure that impact but I tell you, had Rwanda Government not made the tough decision to move in and regulate churches, today we would be in a very bad bad place. It hasn't made us less God-fearing People, we are still a prayerful nation, the churches which met the requirements are open, the Pastors who have their qualifications are preaching, but nobody is selling us fake miracles & promises in exchange of even the little one has. Now, can Uganda redeem the situation? Yes, but it would take quite some work. The church industry in Uganda is deeply rooted, has thrived for decades and created strong men and women, some of them close to power - so powerful that implementing such a move would take the highest levels of intervention and done so without any fear or favour. It would take someone detached from them to take serious regulatory measures to restore sanity. I would think Gen. @mkainerugaba would be the right man to handle this, but it is a whole process that also requires mindset change, dialogue to some extent and stern action. Recently when I was in Kampala, I couldn't sleep. Near the hotel we were in, there is a mabaati church that played loud music and held overnight prayers daily, till 6am. Do these people go to work in the morning? Definitely no. Just waiting for miracles. Something has to be done. Uganda, it is about time. Embrace this change, face the reality, regulate, in 2-3 years time, things will be back to normal. Good luck. 🙏🏾
We can now finally say it's official and we at here for business.

I have on several occasions tried to present my language program to the @ChineseEmb_Uga and @ChinaEmbinRW but I guess was the only project they were slow at. Now their citzens are struggling.
Sorry to these amazing women and I hope @Ugandapolice has translators.
I want to hear what my ssister @NsangaSylvie had to say about this young lady's argument.
