Ensure you Have Enough Fuel in Reserve! Driving in winter conditions, ensure that your car has extra fuel than you would normally need. This will give you enough reserve in case you are stuck in standing traffic or stranded. #WednesdayWisdom #WinterDriving #WinterDrivingTips

When packing your tent or awning away, make sure you tie up all the guy lines into bundles. This will stop them from tangling in the bag & prevent them from snagging when next pitching up. #WednesdayWisdom #CampingTips #Camping101 #TentCare
Text over an image of a guy rope being pegged out reads "Packing Away Guy Ropes - When packing your tent or awningaway, make sure you tie up all the guy lines into bundles. This will stop them tangling in the bag & snagging when next pitching up."

Caravan insurance is important but you can avoid paying too much by taking time to scrutinise your policy for any aspects that you may already be covered for on your home policy. #Insurance #moneysaving #caravan #caravanlife #wednesdaywisdom
Save Money - Don't Overinsure. Check your hope and any other policies you have, to make sure that your caravan insurance isn't duplicating some cover. Remove duplicate aspects of cover to avoid overpaying

When pitching your tent or awning, keep the zips closed. Otherwise, the material, elastics or stitching can stretch and strain when the zipper pulls the fabric taut Follow us for more #campingtips #Tent #Awning #WednesdayWisdom
Text overlaying a background image of a tent zipper reads "Awning & Tent Zippers: Ensure that all doors are closed when erecting or taking down your tent. This prevents against overstretching the fabric and elastics. Keep zips clean & free running with zip lubricant."
