Good speech today @nowak_paul but unless I missed it, you didn't mention this year's 90th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street, when our movement united to stop the fascist blackshirts. We need to do it again. Look forward to seeing you on 4th Oct.

There's a vital link between the Battle of Cable Street and the Spanish Civil War - and women were prominent in both. Join Meirian Jump from @MarxLibrary on 2nd July, part of the TOGETHER on Cable Street season. Tickets from link below (and going fast).

Great solidarity turnout with @HackneyNEU on strike at Hackney 6th Form College ("BSIX") against managers who know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
There's a pattern emerging of attacks on places offering education to working class communities.
@robbins_glyn – at Islington, London
@TowerHamletsTC joined @HackneyNEU fighting course cuts & job losses at BSix - a direct attack on the education and life chances of young working class people.
They're out 'til 4th July. Please support as you can.

Hello @Uma_Kumaran - we wrote to you & other Tower Hamlets MPs about where you stand on benefit cuts. We haven't had a reply.
With the #SpringStatement tomorrow, we'd like to hear from you about this critical issue for our community.
Thank you

This will still be an urgent issue for the labour movement, whatever happens tomorrow. We all need to "do our bit".
Please share & build.
Wondering why my union logo isn't on this @ucu ?

They say the sun shines on the righteous – & the sun certainly was shining on the junior Doctor's picket line outside the Royal London this morning. UNISON, @TowerHamletsTC & @ApsanaBegumMP joined the Drs to show solidarity with their claim for pay restoration. Go Docs!

Our Branch is proud to have many Bangladeshi members. They contribute to the life of our Branch & play a vital role in the provision of public services across our community. We resolutely stand against the anti-Bangladeshi & anti-migrant statements that have recently been made.
