Club option for 2029. 😎
Barca have already got their long-term goalie sorted and by 2 years time I reckon Madrid have replaced Courtois with somebody else, anyway, pretty much paving the way for another extension with us, if he's still at the level we want by then.
With Kvara out, that could have serious knock-on impacts on the flow of the CL this season. PSG pretty stacked in his position (signed 3 forwards this summer) and can't sign anyone to major because otherwise it would fuck up squad harmony.
Such an American view on support. Yuck.
But from the quotes they know they need to not burn Arsenal. The brief Malick Fofana saga shows that in part.
Roc Nation president Michael Yormack, whose agency represents Vinicius Jr:
"Arsenal was very involved. They were very aggressive.
"Vini's heart is in Madrid, that's where he’s always wanted to be, and that’s where he is, and that’s where he hopes to be for the rest of his career. I don't think there was ever a question.
"Did he ever seriously consider Arsenal? I mean of course. When a team like Arsenal rolls out the red carpet for you and makes you feel really wanted, then obviously you have to listen.”
"But he's where he wants to be and we’re happy, he’s there. It’s not often that an athlete gets to start their professional journey at one team, and end it there as well," he told SportsBoom.
People mistake conditioning work for hard work in training. Ronaldo too self-absorbed to be a team player. It's why his later career has gone so badly.

“Cristiano works harder than Messi” is the greatest myth and lie we’ve been told on football Twitter.
🚨🚨🎙️| Erik ten Hag says Cristiano Ronaldo pulled out of Manchester United team training sessions:
“I confronted him with this.
“Many times I say, ‘Ronnie, everyone wants to work for you to bring you in the right position, but if you can’t bring yourself in the box, you can’t score’.
“He was not capable to do this. It’s the wrong idea to put this to me that I expected him to do the pressing, that he’s exhausted. But he couldn’t. He ran neither in possession nor out of possession.
“The reason was because he didn’t prepare himself.
“He was telling the players, ‘Save your legs at the training’. I understand it when you are top fit; you have sessions, you can save the legs. But first you have to train yourself to get into the right fitness levels.”

What if they just expelled City from this season. Automatically give everyone points for facing City. Just lowers the risk of farcical games.
This is all City's fault, btw. Don't let any of their fans gaslight you on this.
Eze stunk up the place today. I know there's a player there, but he needs to do more. This season is the best chance he is ever going to get to be a starter. If he doesn't show enough, then we all know what will happen.
Noni deserves a big moment. Been taking too many undue whacks on social media lately. I don't think our fans appreciate enough how good he is, relative to the squad role we have him playing.
Really feels like everything is getting up for Vini to be available next summer. Mourinho probably realises how poorly built the squad is. Does he have the balls to demand a Perez favourite goes, though? And to get the player to go as well.
Looking back, I know I contradicted what I way saying prior, but tbh, I just don't have anger for comparatively small transgressions anymore.
Being champions changes a lot.
Even a season earlier would have made a difference to the reaction.
Guys, I know we really don't need any more CB/FB hybrid profiles... but, I think I have one more in me.
Exc: Lisandro Martinez formally punished by Man Utd for remarks after defeat to Atletico Madrid. Argentina international fined. Martinez has public apologised following talks today. Long-term future at Utd in doubt. bbc.co.uk/sport/football/art…
Seems like Ethan still needs to develop his engine. That was my main criticism of him before and why he wasn't starting games for us.
He's now got an opportunity at regular minutes. Build stamina and keep at a high level with a high volume of games.
Tonight, not great.

Remarkable observation by former professional referee Graham Scott: 'In the 25 years of a separate list for Premier League referees, there was not a single referee promoted into the group from London or its surrounding counties, which have a combined population of 15.8 million.'
