Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands.

France is burning and I have to say, watching some of the footage coming out of there today, the hypocrisy is absolutely staggering.
Paris. Marseille. Lyon. Rennes. Toulouse. Angers.
Buildings attacked, cars burning, shops smashed and looted, police and security forces attacked.
Marseille City Hall built in 1653 has been stormed and vandalised, priceless artefacts smashed into pieces. A municipal police station attacked. Lyon’s tourist office set on fire. A fire outside the doors of Cathédrale Sainte-Marie-Majeure.
And they are firing firework mortars at police in Paris, Marseille and Lyon.
Over 270 have been arrested.
Yet it’s people like me who are routinely called “far right” for having an opinion.
Question immigration. Far right.
Talk about borders. Far right.
Raise concerns about integration. Far right.
Say something the left doesn’t like. Far right.
Apparently that is extremism.
But cover your face, dress in black, attack police, smash up public buildings, loot shops and fire mortars at officers and suddenly everyone becomes terribly careful about labels.
Well, here’s the problem.
The French authorities themselves are calling out the ultra-left.
Not me.
France’s Interior Ministry says there has been a “very strong mobilisation” of the ultra-left and has described what is happening in parts of the country as “violent and targeted operations”.
So let’s stop dancing around it.
There is far-left violence on the streets of France.
There are Palestinian flags throughout some of these demonstrations too.
And before anyone tells me that’s something somebody has made up on X, AFP journalists are providing live video and photographic evidence that Palestinian flags are being carried by these violent thugs who are destroying their towns and cities and attacking police and security services.
This doesn’t mean that everyone protesting today is far left. There are ordinary French people out protesting about the cost of living, wages, schools and public services. They have been protesting peacefully in other areas of these towns but their cause has been hijacked by the far-left.
We can’t pretend this isn’t happening just because it makes for an uncomfortable picture.
Then there is the chant from the far-left:
“Louis XVI, Louis XVI, we beheaded him. Macron, Macron, we can do it again.”
They are literally invoking the beheading of Louis XVI and saying they can do it again to the President of France.
That chant isn’t new either. It has been heard at radical-left demonstrations in France before.
Now tell me something.
If this were the far right, would anyone be struggling to find the words?
Masked far-right groups attacking police across several major cities.
Far-right extremists firing mortars at officers.
Buildings on fire.
Shops looted.
A town hall stormed.
A police station attacked.
And crowds chanting about doing to the President what was done to Louis XVI.
It would be called far-right extremism from morning until night.
Every newspaper would have it in the headline. Every television studio would be discussing radicalisation. Politicians would be lining up to condemn it.
And rightly so.
That’s the bit that matters.
I am not asking for the far right to be excused.
I’m asking why the far left should be.
Because I am sick to the back teeth of watching “far right” thrown around at ordinary people who have never burned a building, never attacked a police officer, never fired anything at anybody and never threatened anyone’s life.
Our words are apparently dangerous.
Our concerns are apparently dangerous.
Question government policy and you’re an extremist.
Question immigration and somebody will eventually call you far right.
But actual political extremists put masks over their faces, attack police and burn their way through cities and we’re treated to endless discussion about their “grievances”. It’s just a ‘clash’ with police, nothing more.
No.
You don’t get to have it both ways.

I'm torn on this issue. If the BBC vanished tomorrow, I would be hard pressed to notice, and I don't think I would miss it. But there is still a strong case for a national broadcaster to showcase British talent and export our cultural produce.
The essential problem with the BBC is that it is increasingly not run by British people, and it is not run for them. You're more likely to encounter Arabs, Africans and Asians in the BBC newsroom than a working class Englishman. It sees itself as an internationalist enterprise, and it has no loyalty to Britain at all. Worse still, the people who run it don't even like Britain.
There was time, not so very long ago, when the BBC would celebrate Britain. You may remember the Greatest Britons series, or BBC Coast at its peak - running concurrently with peak BBC comedy that was capable of self-mockery. I think tall that died circa 2008, and by 2016, it actively loathed the average British citizen, especially if they voted for Brexit. The death of Clarkson era Top Gear was probably when most normal people's relationship with the BBC ended.
The bottom line is that you can't have a national broadcaster that doesn't like the British people. You can't expect it to produce anything that the British people would want to watch, much less anyone else. You can't expect it to promote and celebrate British cultural produce when it doesn't even want to be associated with the people who produce it, and is ashamed of our history. Such an enterprise can only ever become a universally loathed parasite.
Then as much as we know who the BBC doesn't like, we can also see who it does like. It firehoses our money at absolute scum, while being on the wrong side of every major political divide. It would rather do shows about drag queens than British history.
As such, I am largely ambivalent as to whether it survives or not. It is entitled to keep being what it is just so long as I don't have to part with my money to maintain it. It should have to compete on the same basis as everyone else.
Unlike many on the right, I don't incline to #DefundtheBBC. I value it, and support the individual freedom to boycott and not pay the licence fee if you wish. But to learn that the Government is considering a tax on all streaming services—a mandatory tax to finance the BBC—is fundamentally illiberal. You should not be forced to fund it just because you watch Netflix, Disney or YouTube.

🚨🇬🇧 In the UK, a child at a primary school was branded a racist for refusing to take part in Ramadan
The child said - "Why do we have to do that? I'm not doing that. Do I have to? If I don't will you make me?"
The school responded - "This will be added to your child's behaviour record and the schools log of racist incidents"
Children are indoctrinated
If you refuse you will be punished

She voted for it.
She welcomed them.
Faced with the encore, she begs them to stop. In her heart she knows they will not.
Everything she believed. That they were French like her, fighting for the same cause. That the ones who warned her were full of hate. That she would be safe.
It all falls apart in this moment. She is terrified of what comes next. In her heart she knows.
Only remigration can save her.
“Why are you doing this? Stop it! That’s not what we stand for!”
A young French woman who appears to be leftist tries unsuccessfully to stop looters from breaking into a supermarket.
Cause and consequence, face to face.
I can’t help but feel heartbroken to helplessly watch my country being torn apart.

Bradford Crown Court just handed out a masterclass in “consequences.”
Two of the balaclava-wearing gang who lured a 17-year-old to a shop under the pretence of buying vapes, then surrounded him, snatched his keys and phone, patted him down for cash, flashed a machete, punched him to the ground and drove off in his car got exactly what you’d expect in modern Britain.
Zaid Khan (already in custody for kidnapping) had a mere nine months added. Salim Mohammed walked with a suspended 16-month youth sentence, 150 hours unpaid work and some “rehabilitation.” Five of them turned up in balaclavas for a planned ambush and the court still treated it like youthful high jinks.
Victim never even gave a statement. Car recovered, phone found in the bushes, gang left in a taxi. Classic.
This is what “taking crime seriously” looks like when the system has decided certain patterns of behaviour are just another multicultural success story.
Soft sentences, no real deterrent, rinse and repeat.

Let’s correct this ignorant take on white and black crime along with poverty and crime.
It’s more about culture, decision making and values than it is about income..

Nostalgic memes spread misleading messages, like:
“Once, families could own a home & send their kids to college on one income.”
But the homes were smaller.
Most kids didn’t go to college.
The memes ignore facts.

No one wants to see your ridiculous hijabs, hear prayer calls, have you blocking the streets praying, get attacked for walking a dog, get raped because your religion tells you it isn't your fault if we're not covered head to toe
