I’ve seen the video of the CMO being harassed. It’s appalling and totally unacceptable. The CMO works tirelessly on behalf of the country. We will not tolerate this sort of behaviour towards our public servants. The men behaving in this disgraceful way should be ashamed.

Govt puts in place back-up lab agreement with USA during planning in case of any lab issues.
UK Lab encounters an issue - HMG uses planned back-up capability.
Seems like a demonstration of robust crisis planning.
Britain has been secretly flying tens of thousands of coronavirus tests to America as it struggles to lift the daily testing rate over 100,000 a day in the UK, The Sunday Telegraph can disclose.

The care home said it has over 3 months’ supply of PPE, and called your claims “inaccurate”.
Are you saying the care home is lying?

Ridiculous partisan attack by Labour backfiring spectacularly here.
The care home itself: “we have over three months supply.”

.@amateuradam, this tweet is misleading and wrong.
“Clinically vulnerable” is different to those being asked to shield for 12 weeks (known as “clinically *extremely* vulnerable”)

We have strongly advised all over 70s to follow social distancing measures. However, there is no "blanket ban", and the suggestion that the clinically vulnerable "include 'people aged 70 or older regardless of medical conditions'" is wrong & deeply misleading.

Sad to see another factually wrong & misleading article on p1 of the Sunday Times.
The clinically vulnerable, who are advised to stay in lockdown for 12 weeks, emphatically DO NOT include all over 70s.
I’ve asked for an urgent correction.

Interesting article comparing @MattHancock to Macmillan in the 1950’s. I believe the latter was known as SuperMac en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supe…. So perhaps we now have our own #SuperMatt
