I got added to a whatsapp group called ONE MILLION BEERS where everybody posts a picture of their beer and adds one to the tally. Up to 23175 and having the best time seeing beer pictures from UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Australia, Thailand etc

Tonight, England and Wales prepare for their second matches of the tournament against the Netherlands and France respectively. However, UK pubgoers are charged 33p more in beer duty than in France, and 34p more than in the Netherlands. We’re calling on Government to level the playing field, make cuts to beer duty in the Autumn budget, and help the beer and pub sector support the Chancellor’s ambitions for growth.

As time moved on alehouses and taverns were built and fostered a sense of community and soon became a hub of activity. We recently took the chance to speak with customers about the importance of the pub to them and how this sense of community still remains to this day. 🗣️
