September means school is in session. 🤓
It also means people driving and cycling need to be extra careful in school zones. These areas have extra signage to alert people driving to the presence of children. These safety measures may include “watch your speed” signs, flashing beacons, and enhanced pavement markings to encourage safer driving and increase safety.
Here’s what to do at a school zone:
🚸 Check your speed.
🚸 Slow down and watch for children.
🚸 Be alert, stay focused

Back-to-school bike rides are back 🚲 Before kids head out, check their helmet fit using the 2V1 rule:
2 fingers above the eyebrows
V-shaped straps around the ears
1 finger between the chin and strap
Check the fit every time.

The events of September 11, 2001 remain a powerful reminder of profound loss and extraordinary bravery.
As we mark the 25th anniversary, we remember the victims, stand with those forever changed, and pay tribute to the first responders who served with courage, and sacrifice. 🕯️
