Adam McNamara will send the Ontario Science Centre the $522,500 required to keep it open for 2024. All those summer children’s programs will not need to be cancelled/relocated. All those staff won’t be laid off or displaced at the 11th hour. I’m retweeting this because I would like to see this happen. (And I know Adam, and I know he is serious.) Would you like to see this happen?

BREAKING: The transcript from Donald Trump's hush money trial reveals that he got upset today and started cursing so much that the judge had to scold him like an unruly schoolchild. This is just humiliating... "I understand that your client is upset at this point, but he is cursing audibly, and he is shaking his head visually and that's contemptuous," said Judge Juan Merchan to Trump's attorneys. "It has the potential to intimidate the witness and the jury can see that," he added. "I will talk to him," said Trump's attorney Todd Blanche. "So, I am speaking to you here at the bench because I don't want to embarrass him," said the judge. "I will talk to him," repeated Blanche. "You need to speak to him. I won't tolerate that," said Merchan. "I will talk to him," said Blanche. "One time I noticed when Ms. Daniels was testifying about rolling up the magazine, and presumably smacking your client, and after that point he shook his head and looked down," said Merchan. Clearly, Stormy Daniels' testimony got under Trump's infamously thin skin. His swearing, outrageous behavior would land anyone else in contempt of court. Between this and his gag order violations, it's time that Judge Merchan locked Trump up. Please retweet and ❀️ to help spread Trump's shame so that MAGA fans hear about it β€” and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth β€” which is only making Tribel grow even faster. My comment on ⁦@TorontoStar⁩ article, which seems to be giving the Liberals credit for ⁦@OntarioNDP⁩ work, when they don’t even have a seat yet. ⁦@MaritStiles⁩ for Premier! The polls show that the NDP are doing their job. Report on that ⁦@robertbenzie⁩

For those not in the know: there are no #flutes in the Messiah or any of the other popular baroque works that get trotted out at this time of year. Meanwhile brass and oboe players are dying from too many shows and not enough rest #giglife #freelancemusician #classicalmusic #xmas

This is a map of the Province of Ontario. The Greenbelt is a sliver of land in the context of the Province. I was going to draw it on the map but it was as thin as a pencil line at this scale. But an important pencil line - it is the richest farmland in the entire province. It is also the Carolinian forest - which contains an extremely high biodiversity of species, over 500 of which are considered rare on a global scale. The Greenbelt was created to ensure we didn't pave over this rich farmland. It was created to halt sprawl. The #GreenbeltGrab has never been about a shortage of land. Look at this Province! There is so much abundant land that isn't Greenbelt. The #GreenbeltGiveaway has never been about building housing, either. It is about the profit, the uplift in value, that comes from re-designating agricultural land to residential land. Uplift in value. At the expense of prime, irreplaceable agricultural land. That's what this is about.

Investigate: 1. The flagrant misuse of MZO’s for friends and family, violating the principles of local democracy. Why is the Province MZO’ing lands of private developers and not developing land it owns itself, around GO stations? 2. Ontario Place. Why a multi-million $ subsidy for parking to an Austrian spa? Why is this advancing if it is not supported? Who has a stake in this. Why, when the Province decided to subsidize development here, was a fully transparent procurement process to find interested bidders not advanced, with clarity of investment from the Province made to all of the bidders? Is the subsidy only available to an Austrian company? Why? 3. Why have there been quickie billion $$ contracts for the new Ontario Line? Why were procurement rules changed and/or not followed? Who benefited from the changing of these rules, and why were they changed? 4. Eglinton Crosstown fiasco. Why does the Province not care? Why is an operating agreement not in place with the TTC? Why is the public not being informed about when the line is opening. Why are construction workers parking in vehicles lanes along the corridor blocking traffic, as they sweep the sidewalks? How much repair work is required to make the disaster operational? Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Time to shine some light on this government.
