Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting a Burnley FC player visit. This was organised by Burnley in the Community due to our link with the club. The players who visited were Armando Broja and Bashir Humphreys.

Then the players took part in a couple of festive games with everyone, including pass the parcel and throw the snowball through the Elf’s mouth.

Finally, all the pupils (and staff) got to take a photo with the players and get items signed by the players. Thank you to Burnley in the Community for organising this special afternoon.

Sports leaders from our FE department were also present working with other schools, helping their learners on stations, giving advice and support. They were a fantastic help making the event run smoothly. Well done everyone involved.
