To whom it may concern. Especially the "Yoruba-buts"
Nationality is a legal framework - you can be stripped of your nationality. Ethnicity is biological - whatever you are, you are it for life.

Just listen to this f00lish IGBO man without sense "I don't have a problem with a Chukwudi running Lagos" but you will have a problem with an Abiodun trying to run Anambra state.

🚨Breaking: Some English Premier League clubs are set to vote in support of Manchester City to not get relegated instead be handed a heavy fine and a transfer ban, Rumors says that what City paid for Elliott Anderson (£124m) was closer to what Liverpool paid to Newcastle for Alexander Isak (£125m) ,but City claimed they paid only £116m for Elliott Anderson, City signed Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace for over £40m but claimed they paid only £20m, City sold James Trafford to Leeds United for £25m but inflated the price to £45m, Manchester City sold Savio and Omar Mamoush to Tottenham for a combined £95m but are claiming that only Savio was sold for £95m and Omar Mamoush is on loan with a mandatory buy option worth £60m thereby inflating there revenue by extra £60m English clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Leeds United did some sham deals with Manchester City and they are cautious that if they don't support Manchester City they fear that City might implicate them 🤯

One Mr. Femi Awoniyi responded to Gbadebo P Rhodes-Vivour's broadcast as follows: "It is very sad that your candidacy has constituted nothing but a distraction in Lagos politics. Why do I say that? Because you have built your entire political career around identity politics. In your past Senate candidacy, you campaigned using your Igbo name, cultivated relationships with Igbo organisations, mobilised Igbo people and, in my view, played the ethnic card. It was your legitimate right to do so. But knowing the deep misunderstanding and distrust that exist between these two ethno-national groups, you should not complain if that same card is eventually turned against you. I think that is why your not speaking Yoruba became an issue. And I believe that your not learning Yoruba growing up was a choice, a deliberate one. I have many Igbo friends, both of whose parents are Igbo, with whom I grew up, and they all speak Yoruba. This is why I find it difficult to understand how someone whose father is reportedly Yoruba and who, according to your biography, was born in Ikeja could have grown up without speaking Yoruba. I believe that, for whatever reasons best known to you, was a deliberate choice. I see your candidacy as a sheer distraction. You have positioned yourself as the alternative to the APC in Lagos, but, in my view, you are not a credible alternative. For there is very little in your biography or professional experience that suggests you have the capacity to govern Lagos. The APC cannot and should not govern Lagos forever. Unfortunately, I believe you are hindering the emergence of a unifying alternative through your identity-driven politicking. That is a fact and it is very unfortunate." There’s always something different about people of impact. Look at Arsène Wenger. His former players are now managers, yet many of them still speak about him with immense respect and affection. They call him their manager even decades later. Then you look at the Class of ’92… Different story entirely. A lot of noise, rage bait and constant drama. Legacy isn’t just about what you achieved. It’s also about what people who worked with you still think of you years later.

My girlfriend asked me when we’re getting married. I told her: Marriage is a patriarchal concept. What do women even get out of it besides a new surname? I would never do that to you. You’re a strong independent woman, I don’t want to cage you in marriage. I’m actually saving you from patriarchy. I don’t even believe in labels. Forget wife, I won’t even call you my girlfriend. You’re not someone’s property. You’re just… my person. She’s crying right now.

This should be Yoruba anthem! Composed and sang by Chief Hubert Ogunde troop in 1960! What an Anthem. Many Gen Z will think it is witches song. Thank you Our Nollywood actors for bringing this to bear

Good governance people go run from post like this. 😂 She speaks English! Has British passport, well articulated, her loyalty to the UK has never been in doubt even at the detriment of Nigerians. All that didn’t save her from the question of identity. There’s GRV who has shown no loyalty to Yoruba people, but they want to gaslight you as a Yoruba person that such person should be given the right to rule you just to show them you’re not a bigot. If you like mumu ooo
