Big news! Jessica's article on target-mediated fluoroquinolone resistance in N. gonorrhoeae was published today and she is is defending her dissertation on Thursday! Check it out here: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
Happy to report our recent collaboration with the Mitton-Fry lab at @osu_pharmacy demonstrating that dioxane-linked amide NBTIs can induce both single- and double-stranded DNA breaks mediated by N. gonorrhoeae gyrase and topoisomerase IV @IJMS_MDPI tinyurl.com/OSUAB185

Our first foray into bioRxiv! We're really surprised that these chemotherapeutics inhibit DNA replication in such different ways. Graduate student @sabrinadoessci1 did an amazing job. Incredibly grateful to collaborators in Neil Osheroff and @davidkcortez. 💊🛑🧬🐸
