My attempt at drawing Aether and Ganyu’s wedding in a traditional Liyue style, inspired by Chinese wedding customs.
I used an in-game screenshot for the background, though I’m still not sure if that was a good idea or how well it blends with the rest of the artwork.
I’d really appreciate any feedback or constructive criticism!

Ganyu literally sets her work aside to ask Aether on a date, while Xianyun, the best future mother-in-law in Teyvat, casually exposes how eager her daughters are to see him.
Wolf Mama is gorgeous, but if mod support happens… I already know what my first mod is going to be — Ganyu as a cocogoat mama, with the little (okay, maybe not-so-little) herd of qilin kids she and Aether have together.

They even showed her for a few whole seconds just to illustrate something we already knew about another character.
Aww, they really shouldn’t have.
You know what they should have done instead?
ADD MORE GANYU CONTENT TO THE ACTUAL GAME.
I keep getting new ideas for Aether/Ganyu art and memes, but by the time I get home I’m already exhausted. After everything I have to do, there’s usually only enough time left for my Genshin dailies, and if I do have any free time after that, I’m already too drained to draw.
Then I wait for the weekend, hoping I’ll finally have the time and energy. Sometimes plans get in the way, sometimes I’m just tired. And even when I finally sit down to draw, what I end up with never looks as beautiful as it did in my head.
It’s frustrating having so many things I want to make about Ganyu and Aether and feeling like I can never actually get to them.
