Really don’t understand why Buick opted to lead this race? That just meant Oisin was going to move to his outside and pace pressure him very early knowing he’s on a strong stayer? Buick had the quickest horse, the last thing he didn’t want was to get in a duel from a long way out - which is exactly what happened. And they both became vulnerable to something finishing from behind.

I’m sure there will be plenty shouting abuse but Lancaster Tower is pulling clear of the rest of the field at the end there. The winner is decently bred (the dam was rated over 100) and clearly made a huge jump 1st to 2nd run

PLACE 🥈 Global Success finishes 2nd tipped at 16/1 1pt ew ✅ Loads of value (6/1 SP) - no excuses in the race though Oisin had the filly well positioned throughout Looked like we were going to drop out of the places at one point so take the result in the end

WINNER 🥇 Bnaider wins well under Fallon at Pontefract Came on massively for the Salisbury run and proved himself to still be very well handicapped 11/4 2pt ✅ (10/3 SP)

UNLUCKY OR BAD RIDE? 🤔 Looking back at PALMS OASIS yesterday at Southwell, who went off the 10/3 second favourite. Drawn in stall 9, Ross Coakley breaks looking to roll forward, but quickly realises his mount is racing too keenly and he’s unlikely to get across. He then takes back, but ends up trapped wide throughout, at one point going four wide around the home turn. Despite all this, the horse still manages to finish 2nd, and for me, should have won the race. But was this simply an unlucky run from a wide draw, or could Coakley have done more to avoid the situation?

WINNER 🥇 Thankfully wins head in chest First leg of the double a non runner which means we had the full 3pt win on at 7/2 Good bounce back from yesterday 🥂
