opencode 2.0 took a lot of our attention for a while so we understandably were criticized for not addressing issues but now that it's out, the team has been on fire burning down issues

I left @Apple to build healthcare that listens and acts early. Today, I'm excited to introduce UniqueHuman. We're building proactive healthcare agents that handle every step of care for people with chronic conditions. Our mission is to end chronic suffering. Today, we begin with migraines.

Ujval Kapasi (@nvidia) examines what agentic workloads need from the PyTorch stack in “PyTorch Performance for Agents on Vera Rubin” at #PyTorchCon 2026. A single request can trigger long chains of reasoning, tool calls, code execution, data movement, and distributed inference, introducing new bottlenecks and optimization opportunities. Using Vera Rubin as a case study, he explores hardware and software co-design across CPUs, GPUs, memory, and networking. The keynote covers software optimizations and work across PyTorch, Triton, and vLLM on Vera Rubin.

another massive round in agent land + this one sure to be the talk of the ... town @TownAI raised a $108M Series B co-led by @ForerunnerVC & @MenloVentures at a $1B val Town gives everyone on a team a personal AI assistant ("Townie") that connects to their email, docs + calendar, learns how they work, + can now coordinate + hand off work directly w/ other Townies Some stats on the biz: - Hit 7 figures of ARR within weeks of its June launch - Paying customers up 4x since July - Paying teams up 9x since July we've been using it at @btv_vc + loving it --> my fave moment so far: it found redundancies across my skills & routines and recommended ways to consolidate them, which means fewer credits & less spend $181M total raised now Congrats @jgreze + team! town.com/operate-at-the-spee…

i'm doing a bunch of work on our desktop app my flow is a single pinned "gooey" session where i tell it to do all work in subagents then as i use it i keep telling it ideas/fixes i want and it goes off in a subagent to implement them - these can even be in different worktrees if it's complicated it'll pop open html documents with screenshots to communicate before/after and give me options to pick because a lot is going on in parallel i often will ask "what do you need from me" so it tells me what is ready for review

A golden age is coming for gaming, and not just for gaming. All software can and will be created rapidly faster and better than was possible before. Computing will see a renaissance. Old hardware will become completely usable again. The seemingly impossible becomes possible.
The games we've long wanted, which didn't exist because they'd cost several times more to make than they'd earn back, will soon become possible. As will the games developers wanted to build, but couldn't with the resources available. It'll be a new golden age of gaming.

OpenCode just got hacked. A massive distillation attack drained Anthropic and OpenAI API keys. I break down exactly how they did it, and how to protect yourself.

Vintage Digital Couture + I love experimenting with fragments generated using @ElevenLabs Sound Effects, then cutting, layering, and rearranging them the old-school way into musical soundscapes. A kind of sonic writing, playing with rhythms, textures, and unexpected connections.

holy shit, opencode got hacked and it's officially fu*ked 'a large scale distillation attack, 1.4% of console users hit' and people got drained, one user says his openai and anthropic keys, used only in opencode, ran up over $400 overnight, another replied $1,700. who compensates that? every one of them had external providers linked, and it's still ongoing this is the warning for all of us, build your own harness and keep your keys on your own machine, don't park them in anyone's console anymore
We had a security breach last night related to a large scale distillation attack that impacted 1.4% of OpenCode Console users We have notified them all this morning via email. If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate

there's a reason top creators still choose midjourney when there are supposedly better models available... and it has nothing to do with technical specifications or benchmark scores what matters at the end of the day is this one question: can you take what exists in your imagination and translate it into something real that matches your vision? midjourney does something that's pretty rare in the AI space right now... it captures the vibe you're going for, not just the literal description not just technical accuracy or photorealism, but the feeling and aesthetic you had in mind when you started when studio-quality content becomes free and accessible to literally everyone, taste is the only thing that separates you > anyone can generate images now, that's a solved problem > but not everyone can imagine something that's worth generating > and even fewer people can look at results and recognize when they've nailed it the time you invest in developing your creative vision and aesthetic sense will separate you from 99% of people using these tools this is genuinely one of the top skill worth building right now
