All my life I’ve tried to use music to bring people together. Yet it saddens me to see how misinformation is now being used to divide our world.
I’ve decided to no longer use Twitter, given their recent change in policy which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked.

There's a big list going around of "antifa" accounts that right-wing extremists want @elonmusk to ban. Lots of activists and journalists are on there (me included) as well as accounts like @dog_rates, @DannyDeVito and @WHO plus Democrats like @AOC, @Ilhan and @JoeBiden. (1/2)

The list is a absurd by that measure. But don't dismiss it. A mass flagging campaign has begun based on the list and is already claiming victory for a number of bans. It's a sign far-right extremists see @elonmusk as a ally who will empower them and destroy their enemies. (2/2)

I've been told that post.news is the way Twitter was in 2009. I like the egalitarian aspect of being on a new platform. Everyone has relatively few followers for example. Try to use your same handle and pic so we can see you more easily there. It's time. LFG
