A recommendation until you complete your vision and have all of the mechanics added would be a phased game loop. The times I'm having the least amount of fun is trying to build a fob while an arti and havoc fuck my ass early game. Once built go crazy.
ANNOUNCEMENT 📢
Season 2 was meant to be a fresh start, and for a lot of you it hasn't felt like one. We sped up progression on deliberately and tried to balance the game better, as set out in the patch notes, but it was the wrong call.
Some players are reaching end game gear like Tier 4 armour and MBTs within days, so the wipe never really landed.
Some things are clearly out of balance and we'll fix them. Others have the community split, so we want to see how those play out first.
We won't be doing a knee jerk reset this weekend, as that would be unfair on everyone already enjoying the climb. Instead, we're looking at significantly bringing forward Season 3 and some of its content, so you get a proper fresh start. More details in our dev vlog next week.
This is what Early Access is for. Thanks for playing and for the feedback.

As much as I’m liking E-day I’m having some issue with what’s NOT in the game
No Boltok?
No Scorcher for the SCORCHED legion?
No meatshield?
No grenade tagging?
Those have been staples for a while now with TC having them in either gears 4 or 5 and not having them is very odd
Yeah, this is a fair take. The game is bad, but let's not exaggerate that other games had no bullet sponges.
Corpser is still my personal favorite.
How dare you! I've been told by @Wolfman98002015 that the only people who are disappointed in the game haven't played it!
ohhh sure, that's why....
Gears of War: E-Day is estimated to have sold just 320,000 copies in its first week despite rave reviews due to cannibalization by Game Pass kotaku.com/gears-of-war-e-da…

All went from giants in the industry to failing for the same reasons. Stop hiring activists and your company will survive.
Yes, 100%. For all of those saying it's "because of the women and Gears have always had women". Nope, this guys sucks too. It's the terrible writing and insufferable new characters.
So the moral of the Gears of War E-Day story is that the grumpy old white guy was right and the weak woman caused more death by not being willing to sacrifice the few to save the many?
Go figure....
Based on how these things are being handled it sounds like women shouldn't be allowed to drink at all. Somehow they can't be responsible for their actions.
Turned off comments because he knows he's gonna get ratioed.
Streamers, creators, and gamers: don’t be afraid to play Gears of War: E-Day if you genuinely enjoy it. And honestly, this applies to ANY game.
Don’t let a loud group of people convince you that you’re supposed to hate something just because they decided it’s the current thing to hate. If you’re having fun, keep playing. If you love the gameplay, talk about it. If the game makes you want to come back every night, stream it.
There’s a difference between legitimate criticism and people trying to paint a game in the worst possible light because negativity gets attention.
And with Gears especially, some of the loudest takes come from people who claim to know the franchise but clearly don’t understand its history, identity, evolution, or what has always made Gears special. They’ll grab onto one complaint, repeat what everyone else is saying, and suddenly the entire game is supposedly “dead” before people have even given it a fair shot.
You don’t have to agree with every design choice. You don’t have to pretend a game is perfect. But you also don’t have to hate something just because the internet tells you to.
Play the games YOU enjoy.
Whether it’s Gears, Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Fortnite, RPGs, fighting games, indies, or some completely random game that nobody else is talking about if you’re having fun, that’s what matters.
Streamers especially shouldn’t be afraid to be themselves. Your audience is going to connect with your genuine excitement a lot more than a forced opinion you’re giving because you think it’ll get clicks.
Gaming is supposed to be fun.
So play what you love. Talk about what you love. Criticize what needs criticizing. Give credit where it’s deserved. And most importantly, don’t let somebody else’s negativity steal your enjoyment of a game.
Have fun and be you. 🎮⚙️
Halo Combat Evolved had strong female characters without being fake and gay.
What happened @CoalitionGears you need to fire every single person who had anything to do with Mags, the captain, the pilot, and the Mayor.
Bring back the blades! @XBOX
Somehow he afforded the device he posted this from. Small miracles. #blessed
